Jan 18: I'd taken my computer in to have it looked at and possibly repaired.I explained to the repair guy (the only repair guy in the store), that my p.c. over heats quickly and shuts off. He plugged in and started up my computer. While I was there the computer didn't shut off. After waiting an hour to an hour an a half it was suggested that I leave my laptop there over night to see would it shut down -- I agreed to leave my p.c. because I really wanted it fix. Long story short: I agreed. I asked for a receipt he conveyed to me that they do not give out receipts unless the problem is diagnose.
In order for me to get a receipt I would have to put money down before they order the piece I need to fix the computer. I was told that was company policy.
I Started not to do it.
The only reason I did it is because every time I went to that establishment he was there, also who would lost their job over a laptop.
Jan 23: I came to see him and he told me that I need a new fan. He also told me that he have taken the computer home to see would it shut off. It did. I thought it was strange,him taking my computer to his house, but like I said earlier, every time I enter that place he was there. He made it clear to me that I need a new fan. He said the whole fan was not defected, however, I can not order part of a fan -- I will have to order the whole part.
He told me that I can make a deposit on it so they he could order the fan and than I would get a receipt. I told him I gave him money on Friday Jan 25.
Jan 25: I went to the store to see him and to my dismay he wasn't there. I asked a worker what happen to him, why isn't he here. I was told that he don't know anything about him. He knows him but he do not know anything about him.
I haven't seen the repair person since.
They will not call the owner so I can get this matter resolved.
I do not want to make a big fuss because I do not want them to erase the video tape that shows me bring my computer in and leaving it.
That part of the store has not been open for business since.
The front part of the store is the repair part and back part is for people who want to send money to their country.
I need help.
