Door to Door Salesman Daniel Tingen, A young male adult. He stated he was in school and trying to win a trip to Italy. Stated it was an opportunity of a lifetime. He made me feel sorry for him. I should have known better! I never purchase these types of sales. He began by showing me an advertisement from explorer communications, a list of books, magazines etc. I thought I was purchasing a series of 12 Disney books for my grandson for $65.00 First of all it took them over a 120 day to ship the book, then I found out it was for just one book. No receipt or purchase order provided when they shipped the book. I never heard of a company that does not provide a telephone number. The only way to contact this company is by E-MAIL OR IN WRITING. You can not contact them by phone. Then I found out they have an (F) credit rating from the (BBB) that is as bad as it gets. You only have 3 days to cancel your order from the time of purchase and it must be in writing and they want a copy of proof of payment. This is a traveling saleman. So buyer beware. If you purchased something from this company, get you hard earned money back, cancel your check or put a stop payment on it!!! Cancel the order. Make a copy of it e-mail it or mail it to them. I wish I would have looked on line earlier, but I didn't and that is my fault. My receipt was not clear enough to read book. Instead of books. Like I stated it was presented as if I would be getting a series of books. I don't think anyone in there right mind would buy 1 book for $65.00 dollars, when you could by the same book for $8.95 some where else. When I e-mailed them with my complaint, they quickly responded with they have a copy of the receipt and it states book on the receipt. Seems like they may have had other people contact them with the same complaint. So hopefully now that you have read this you won't be scamed like I was. Good luck.
