I was contacted recently about being approved for a $5000 Loan. I will say that I have applied for payloans in the past and have paid them off or in the process of doing so. It was fortuitious timing as we are in the process of readjusting our finances and all of that.

A Gene Carter called from 202-241-0678 to discuss this. They at first advised me that I would have to get a MoneyPak card with $231 and have it available prior to issuing me the loan. I did that. Not at any time thinking that this might be a SCAM. However, after getting the card and calling him back I was advised by another party at a difference number (Jason Dolly @ 801-960-2571) that I needed to go to Western Money to send the payment. I was talking with them at that point and they would not answer many of my questions. At that point I starting thinking that maybe this was a SCAM. I called GreenDot.MoneyPak and discussed the situation with a Jeremy. She told be that she could issue a refund which would take 7-10 days or I could go and get a VISA Greendot card at Walmart and transfer the money to that card. It cost me more money for the VISA card. I had to put $20 on the card and pay an additional $3.00 for the card itself.

By the time I got the card and tried to transer the $231 the money was GONE!. By this time, I had talked to Gene Carter, Jason Dolly and Peter Sepreto at the aforementioned phone numbers (all from Cash Advance.

I contacted GreenDot@Money Pak again and was left handing on the phone for over an hour.

I am very frustrated. I work in field that deals in Fraud and ID Theft and never thought that I would get caught in this Mess. AND IT IS A MESS!

Please advise if there is anything you can do to help. Especially since I asked MoneyPk to stop the money from being taken out. And it was still there at the time that I called yesterday.
