There are so many vacation rental scams on Craigslist. My own property is being promoted on craigslist illegally. Never never use a listing for vacation rental from craigs list with out finding the vrbo or other number of the real property. Do a search on the pictures or phrases from the listing to get to the real one.
If you do talk to the fake, ask questions where the answer is in the ad. I asked one question on the scam of mine about it being on the fifth floor of the complex and they said yes. also asked about ocean view and got a yes. The ad specifically said ground level and garden view. Plus I know the complex only has 3 floors. -
