I had a representative come to my door trying to sell my books. I thought he was legit. since I ordered from them last year and received my order. So, I fell for the scam, purchased the set of encyclopedias, and waited. I am still waiting for them to arrive 11 months later. I homeschool and thought these books would be a great addition to my children's library. This is so unfortunate. As I am in the middle of preparing our taxes, I am wondering if I can still right this expense off on my taxes.
