Learned today from doing an internet search that this person/company is running a scam inviting speakers to come to the UK. What they are really after is the victim to agree to fork over approx. $1,000 for a UK Work Permit as discovered once I searched for "UK Speaker Scam." I located a website blog of another speaker who wrote about this group in great detail. In fact, his experience was exactly what I've been involved with since the first of February.

I hadn't given them any passport info, bank accts., or credit card as I got suspicious when every one of my speaking engagement requests were accepted...from airline tickets (2 business class), Hilton Hotel accommodations (4 nights), ground transportation,meals and an exorbitant speaker fee. I had a tough time believing a church could afford to bring me in.
