On Thursday 17th January,I was contacted by an american woman named Johanna Miller Employee ID #1785 from Great Destinations Holidays in Orlando, Florida. She said I'd been selected to receive a holiday package for 7 days @ The Radisson Hotel in Orlando, 3 days at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, they'd "throw in" 3 days at Las Vegas at the Excalibur Hotel & I could purchase for $300 USD per person, a 4 day cruise to Nassau in the Bahamas. I had 18 months to take the holiday, could pick a date with 1 free alteration before being charged a fee for any further changes and to call them 45 days ahead of travelling, so they could procure cheap airline tickets, which I also had to pay for, prior to travel. She said Great Destinations Holidays paid 80% of the holiday for 4 people, while I would pay the remaining 20% which covered the cost of the cruise & airfares. Johanna then said she'd pass me onto a second employee/agent who would supply his ID no., that was Bill Greco Junior ID # 3503. These numbers were their International Travel Agent numbers...supposedly. He said all I had to do on my arrival was spend 90 minutes listening to a presentation on their Time Share resorts, before commencing the holiday. I also had the option of 7 days car hire rental or theme park tickets. The portion I had to pay was $698 USD ($830 NZD). Bill gave his contact phone number as 001 (1813)915 3255 & their address as 4014 West Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, Florida 33624, office hours were Mon - Fri 10am-6pm EST. Bill then passed me to their "security guy" Robert Sherwyn for verifying "something secure". Not sure what it was exactly, think it should've been themselves. I stupidly gave them credit card details, thinking it sounded legitimate and having written all their details down as they spoke, questioned them heavily, I considered it must be real. They sent me an email with all confirmations of the entire holiday, (Package #ACT62-698, expiring 17th July 2014,allocating a customer #9384619)and a receipt for payment. I even rang their number back 2 weeks later & they still answered it with Great Destinations Holidays & gave me further info to a couple of queries I had. I've since learned this is a scam & would appreciate having my funds returned.
