I purchased a vehicle from village auto which i financed through credit maxx in may of 2012,everything was fine for the first two months but then the car started to break down. so i fixed it and fixed it again and again, things were happening to this car left and right, i was getting frustrated so in november of 2012, i asked them to pick up the car, i thought maybe they would fix it, i said to the gentleman that i spoke with, that maybe they should fix it or maybe give me another car, but he told me that it wasn't their problem and that i should take it up with the company that payed for the car, which was credit maxx. at this time i was phoning from work and thought that i would wait till i got back home to ile a la crosse, i work in a camp. so when i got home the car was already picked up by who i assume was village auto, i waited for their phone call, i waited and waited but still no phone about what was happening with the car, finally i got a letter stating that i owed credit maxx 1983.85 on january 16th 2013, so i finally phoned them and was informed that they resold the car and didn't sell it for the amount that i owed them and that i still owed them the said amount, well it's just bad business that they did not inform me of their intentions, and they did not try to give me another vehicle or try to fix the one i bought, it's not like i was missing any payments or anything like that, on top of it all they took another couple payments after they took back the car, i am disappointed that they did not try and resolve this by not contacting me through all this, they did not contact me until i got this letter on january 16th, please help me on this matter, i can be e mailed at (Personal Information Removed) all lower case letters, e mail me if you want a copy of this letter, thank you very much sicerely lloyd mccallum.
