I received a call on 2/21/13 telling me that I had won $100 gift certificate to either WalMart or Target. In order to receive these, I had to "join" the Family Shopping Club for $4.95. I'm always leery of these types of calls, but I listened to the woman. She also told me that included in this deal was a Savings Club, and a Discount Travel Club. I thought, ok, I get 30 days to try this, & will get $100 gift cert. for either WalMart or Target. So I agreed to do the Family Club; she read me something over the phone, which I did not understand, and had to stop her to ask what she said SEVERAL times; I gave her my Debit Card # which worried me, and my email address. Then she said she would put me on with someone to verify that I wanted these items. It was a recorded message, and went so fast I couldn't get the info (i.e. phone #, verification #); this went on for a good 20 minutes, until I finally answered NO to one of these items, and TOLD HER THAT I WOULD N O T okay any more items!! She again went over my email (which she had WRONG SEVERAL TIMES). I was to watch for a box that would be sent to me explaining all of this info, and would include my gift cards!! On Monday, 2/25, I checked my bank account and found that there had been 4 different withdrawals from my account. Family Club - $4.95; Discount Travel $4.95; Identity $3.95 & SavesP. $3.95. These aren't huge amounts, but I don't want them!! I called this morning and spoke with someone at the phone number. His name was Forrest, and he gave me their website, and said to check it out, and if I didn't like the discounts that are offered, I could call back and CANCEL. I told him I would do that. We have 30 days to decide if we want this. However, now I find out that it will cost us $29.95 each month for each of these, and that the $100 gift card is only for a CHANCE for a $25 GIFT CARD to several business. I AM CALLING THEM BACK TODAY, TO HAVE THIS STOPPED. I also found out, that they are all at DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS, which WAS NOT TOLD ME AT THE TIME OF THE CONVERSATION. IT WAS PRESENTED AS AN ALL IN ONE.
