Scott Thompson from Corona California called and I fell for it. They were going to search the loan because it had been sold so many times. I sent $695.00 for the service and several days later another person called to give me a postal tracking number for papers we were to receive. I had written all of the info down, which included his name, address, phone number and then when the other person called I added the tracking number. I have misplaced this information except for the check number and carbon of the transaction. I have as of now, not received these papers or had any other correspondence from him. I would think he would be curious why he hasn't received these papers by now. I have contacted a division of HUD and reported all of this. If it is legitimate I hope we can get results.
