This is my third attempt to cancel the "FREE" trial offer. i used the email given by the auravie website minutes after agreeing to pay the shipping cost on the "FREE" offer. Then i called the customer service number provided on their website and found I had the option of being mugged to the tune of either $97.00 or $38.00. After that I found on the auravie website a place to directly submit a yet another cancellation and advising them of my numerous attempts to cancel this subscription. Below is a description of how I've spent about 5 hours trying to make a good faith effort to contact this company in order to avoid this gauntlet and the exact text submitted on the auravie website.

I emailed the request to cancel immediately after submitting the order at the same time I realized it was a scam at around 6:30am on 2/25/13. I used an email address that I identified on the website for customer service. 12 hours later at approximately 6:30pm the postal tracking number documents the product was submitted to the postal agency, that is 12 hours after I requested to cancel everything including the trial offer. Every time I call the customer service number I am only given an option to cancel after charging me either $97.00 or $38.00. This is the confirmation number
62122612966 given when I could not find an option to cancel after I discovered that Auravie would not respond to my email request to cancel the FREE offer.

I received the individual travel size. I called the customer service number provided on the auravie website. That is when I received the confirmation number above after the threat to charge my account &97.00 if I didn't want to comply with the $38.00 mugging.

My credit card was charged instantaneously and the transaction is pending. I will have to dispute it tomorrow. In case you are not aware, there are numerous websites dedicated to document and quantify this fraud. The complaints are coming in at an exponential rate.
