On American Airlines from London to Los Angeles, the airline failed to give me the standard of service that was given
to all other economy-class passengers around me. The light above my seat did not work making it impossible for me to see anything. And because all windows on the
aircraft were kept shut, I was forced to sit in the dark for twelve and half hours. In addition, my television unit did not work. In this regard, I was excluded from receiving
the basic services offered to every other passenger. When informing the flight attendant of the situation, she made no effort to move me to a fully functioning seat and
then chose to ignore me for the rest of the flight.
