Purchased a engine for 2002 Nissan Patfinder and had certified Ice Cold Air repair shop install the engine taking my parts off my engine and replacing them onto the engine I purchased. I started having problems not even3 wks. after installation. Ist antifreeze problem, they tightened up a hose,week later same problem but this time they charged me to replace a aluminium tube.2 weeks later I notice oil leaking under car and bring car back and they say they see that it's leaking but would have to take the whole engine apart to fix it and they wouldn't honor thier warranty and wanted #1000.00 to find out where it was leaking from. I said you just did the installation under warranty you should find out where it's leaking from but they wouldn't. Being on disability I didn't have that kind of money to have them try to find out where the leak was coming from so I just took the car and cheched the oil everyday to see if it was low.My son driving on interstate and the car dies. Tow to nearest repair shop cost of $125.00 an another $250.00 to have it towed to Ice cold air and now he says the car has no compression, so now I had it towed to Nissan to find out exactly whats wrong with this motor and the service manager said he would run some tests free of charge being I'm having so many problems with this motor and Ice Cold Air not standing behined thier installation warranty. I have put over $5500.00 to $6000.00 in this motor and feel that eitherWoodfins where I purchased the motor or Ice Cold Air owe me some compensation for not standing behined thier warranties.
