This is the second number that I have received a call from in the last two weeks. I was so scared because nothing like this has ever happened before. February 20th I got a call from 607-595-1545. They did not get me at work but left a number and message with one of my co-workers. This co-worker so was scared that she tracked me down to give me the message. I called multiple times and nobody ever answered. Then last week the call was from 6075951545. The guy sounded Indian. He said that an arrest warrant was issued for me if I did not pay what I owed to this "company". I asked what was the name of the company and I was told I would find out after I paid. I asked when the loan was taken out and again I would find out after I paid. I then went on to ask, how should the money be paid. He told me to go to CVS/Walgreens/Walmart to get a Greendot prepaid card (not the prepaid visa but one with a scratch off that I would call back and give him the code once it was purchased) I had no idea who this was so googled the number and found numerous complaints about this one number. I went to the police department and filed a complaint because I was so worried being a single parent. The person sounded as though they were from India. When I didn't respond that night, they called me at work the next day and I pretended not to be there.
Tonight, I get the same phone call from a different number: 315-557-6460. I learned to not answer calls from numbers I do not know. I listened to the message and it was the same message I got last week-arrest warrant, need to call back ASAP, and person sounding from India was now a woman. I am about to change my number just to avoid these calls again.
Something should be about to be done legally!! These people are scaring innocent people and making their lives miserable!!
