I received an envelope post marked from Canadian. Enclosed in the envelope were a check in the amount of $1, 240.25 and a letter from Quest Research Group dated February 26, 2013.
The letter stated that I was selected to participate as a mystery shopper because I was identified as a regular customer at one of GRQ’s major retail partner. I am not sure what that means.
Quest Research Group you sound too good to be true, so I am not interested in your service. Please remove my name and address from your mailing list. I was born at night, but not last night. I am not easily fooled. I enjoy money, but your money does not entice me.
Stop providing false advertisement for services that does not exist.

- I also received the exact same letter and check for $1,240.25 to participate as a "mystery shopper" at places like Walmart, Target, Home Depot,..." My first red flag was the fact that the letter header address (1111 Marcus Ave Suite MZ200 Lake Success, NY 11042) was different from the return address on the envelope (North York Civic Centre 5100 Yonge St North York, ON M2N5V7 Canada) which was different than the bank the check is drawn on (Minnesota Power Emp. Credit Union). I researched BBB and found a research company exists in NY but has a different name MSW Research Inc. who's chairman and CEO Peter Klein has a long, long list of alias names primarily in Florida. Too many red flags.
