i first took my corvette in for a check eng lite on and a tire montitor lite on,while there i deceided to get new schocks.when i got the bill they had addeed a serpentine belp that was new..i just paid the bill.i went back because both the lites were still on and they said i needed an air injection pump for the check eng lite and a NEWnot used TIRE SENSOR FOR THE REAR WHEEL THEY ALSO INSTALLED2 OTHER BELT TENSIONERS,A CRANKSHAFT PULLY,A VIBRATION DAMPER,A THOTLE BODY AND A/C BELT THAT BILL CAME TO 2,581.10..THENI WAS CUT OFF THE ROAD ,IT HAD BEEN RAINING FOR TWO DAYS AND I SLID THRU SOME MARSH AND DOWN A HILL.AND GOT STUCK.i had to have it towed out luckly i had a mentor polie officer there that saw me with my door open ..the tow truck driver was mad because it was so wet and muddy he had to crawl under and hook it up..he told them it was in 3 feet of water..i started laughing..a corvette only sits 8 inches off the groundmy car would have had not only water marks on it but in it..thats when THEY ASK ME TO TURN IT IN TO MY INS CO..THEY COULDENT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR..AFTER THEY took it back again for the lites still being onthey said they installed a monitor and a washer behind my ignition..and i was fine ,also a new tire monitor senser..well i got about 3 miles and the steering colom lite came on and the car cut off..they had to tow it .the same old tow driver must have towed ithes the one who said it was in 3 ft of water..well that never happened he just dident go to schopol and has to drive a tow truck foor a living..not my faulti called chevey and they said there was a recall on this problem ,,a 35 dollar steering colom bypass kit,but they had to go and replace the computer ,first ,then the body module controll.1500.00,and so many other things ..i called my ins agent and ask him to get my car out of there ,he said i think there doing ok..ive been given back a corvette that has broken down twice since they have repaired it installed a front bumper a bodyshop was supposesd to do..and all my lites are still on and the bumper is falling off and the paint is chipping ,and there writting back saying i was in some sort of accident and damaged my front bumper,,but im at home for 3 months with my foot in a cast..i had 2 other body shops look at it and they both will swear in court it was installed wrong..8,000dollars for 2 check eng lites..a bit to much for me..i had to pay 40% of that bill..ive got a hell of an atty if need be..after i got it back it broke down again..this time i took it to conrads they said who ever worked on my car last -concord- did a sloppy job,broken clips and wrong screws to dash cover,they also broke my int lite switch and dont want to replace it because it cost 120.00,isent that nice workmanship,,another corvette teck in mentor told me to get my car the hell out of there ,,there just replacing parts un till they can get it fixed.ill take a lie detecter test..
