my home burnt to the ground on dec. 26 2012 . to date,75 days later, i have received nothing. i have hired a private claims adjuster ( chris kieper , universal claims 518-527-6786) as i am currently in florida. he filed a claim with jr farnham claim service (518-725-1310) on 2-11-13 as of today farnham claims,fulmonts hired claims adjuster, has not responded to emails or phone calls.my insurance agency, hoy agency 518 883-3421, has been instructed not to talk to me.how long am i supposed to wait to be paid for my loss.it is very obvious that all concerned are upset that i hired a private claims adjuster.i'm not sure why. i paid for $258,000,coverage on my house(about half what it will cost to rebuild) and $180,000. on the contents(again far less than what was in it).thats what i want NOW.
