I signed up to Primus for a 2 year phone and Broadband contract, they offered cheap calls and both at home and internationally, as my son and his familly live in Spain and we have relatives in OZ we thought it was a good deal. also the prospect of up to 20mb Broadband speed. Imedeately the Broadband speed only came in at 2mb on a good day so i complained but it got no better, so I ofered to just pay for the phone line as I had to take on another Broadband provider, to me Primus had broken the Broadband partof the contract, this was declined so Iasked to pay up the rest of my contract, they gave me a lump sum figure which I paid, Primus drew it down month by month untill the contract time was up, that should have been the end of it but no, the following and subsequent months followed with more monthly statements, in the red, after contacting them again they said the contract hadn't been cancelled and to cancell it I would have to pay the amount due, so I Paid what they said I owed, thinking that would be the end finally. It was untill 6 months later I have recieved an E mail from a debt collection agency demanding I pay another large sum or the costs would escalate and my clean credit rating would be damaged, this I have just paid, knowing I don't owe this money, I have never dealt with such a company that ignores its customers and robs them blind, I hope someone from Primus read this and doe's something about it. My advice to anyone contemplating using this company, don't touch it with 2 barge poles.
