I have traveled with Sunwing few times before with no complaint. This time again we hoped we will have the same quality of vacation. Flight service is excellent like before.

Once we arrived to Punta Cana we have been boarded to a van and drove almost 3hrs to Talanquera Resort.

I went to check in counter to find my room.
It took the counter clark long time to find a room. Finally he handed over a key to the bell boy and we went to the room and found someone is already in the room. we had to go back to the front desk and explain the situation and received another key. This time the room is empty and we checked in.
Now I had to go to the bathroom and believe me that bathroom was filthy, shower is not working, no hot water. It is already 9.30pm
so we went to have something to eat.

Next day (Monday 4th March) at 1.30pm I met sunwing rep. Rolando, I explained to him the situation and requested him to move us out of this place. Rolando was very helpful and made several calls but unsuccessful. He told me one resort promiced him to get back next day.
We have no choice but to stay. Next day Rolando told us we can move but we have to pay $700us. At that point we felt we have no choice but to stay.

This resort is in very poor condition. Poor food (leftover food), no shower,no hot water,very few guests,very poor entertainment.
In future I have to think twice before I travel again with sunwing. Thank you.
