BORROWERS BEWARE: Village Mortgage will not let you lock the interest rate quoted at time of application! They do not publish their rates on-line for a reason!! Once they start the application process they send you a disclosure firm with a higher rate then quoted. When questioned they say it is worse case scenario until required documents are obtained! You are then at their mercy because there is no way to verify the rate! Every reputable institution publishes their rates on-line and allows you to lock in the rate quoted immediately! They also let my app expire due to required documents they did not tell me about! Do not use them!!
