To whom it may concern, I Mr.Delgado, while employed at, TNT FOREST PRODUCTS was Forklift Operator. there were several times when Tedd & Teresa Allen ( boss / owner ) would come over the radio and start yelling, swearing and belittling us always threatening to fire us.
On my first week of employment at TnT Forest Products, we were told we couldn't work any overtime, we were asked to scan out and go back to work to finish what we had started before we left for the day,( work for free.)
On my second week of employment with TNT Forest Products Will and Steve pulled me to the side to ask me who damaged the tire on the forklift , I then told Will and Steve, I didn't know what they were talking about, then Ted called a meeting to inform us that if we didn't confess to the damaged tire he would " (Inappropriate Content Removed)fire our (Inappropriate Content Removed)" and threatening not to pay us till one of us dumb (Inappropriate Content Removed)' told him what happened to the tire, before he excused us form the meeting Ted said, "when I find out who damaged the (Inappropriate Content Removed)tire I will fire your (Inappropriate Content Removed), your (Inappropriate Content Removed)is fired". He then singled out Randy one of the other forklift operator and told him " If you so much as run over a (Inappropriate Content Removed)board I will fire your (Inappropriate Content Removed)" Infront of all the forklift operators, David, John, Robert and myself. Two days later Randy quit, Ted has no respect for any employee. (Working in a lumber yard it's pretty hard to avoid running over pieces of wood.)
There was an incIdent when JJ a co-worker and I were placing units in designated areas by size of wood, we ran out of storage space so we placed them were ever there was space available for the time being once there was space for them we would move them, all of a sudden Ted approaches us screaming and yelling oh, I can't forget swearing at us, asking us what these units were doing here we explained to him that there wasn't any space available and would were just placing them here for the time being, Ted then said " Just do your (Inappropriate Content Removed)job and do what I (Inappropriate Content Removed)pay you for"
On December 18th, my wife came to inform me that my cousin had passed away so we went into the office to talk to Teresa and Ted was yelling and swearing at Steve because one of the new employees wasn't producing enough units, Steve was trying to explain to Ted that it was the employees second day and he was just learning Ted then said what the (Inappropriate Content Removed)do I need two supervisors for and what (Inappropriate Content Removed)do I need 5 forklift drivers for if there not producing enough units, my wife then said "wow is that how they treat their employees"she said this infront of Teresa " Teresa had nothing to say she just put her head down. I feel Teresa should of said something with there being a visitor in the office .( Ted has no respect he swears infront of anyone and at anyone.Teresa and Ted verbaly abuse the employees.)
December 27th, we return from Christmas break and Ted and Teresa called a meeting, we were told that one of the employees had went to a local bank in New Plyhmouth and called one of the bank employees a Bitch, in spanish,( the manager from the bank called Ted and Teresa and reported the incident.) at the meeting Ted mentioned again he would fire their (Inappropriate Content Removed)( If he knew who the employee was he should of pulled that employee into the office and explained to him that, that is not tolerated) Ted also mentioned that it had been reported to him that several employees had been purchasing alcohol during lunch break, again I feel he knows which employees are drinking on the job and he should be addressing them, if we can smell them I'm sure he can, they have blood shot eyes and reek of alcohol, ( one of them is a supervisor, Will and the other is Cristiano and forklift operator.) Before the meeting came to and end he said "that if we wanted to speak spanish we needed to go back to Mexico where you came from ", I felt so discriminated and I'm not even from Mexico, talk about having respect.
January 10th, I went into the office to leave paper work , Teresa wasn't at her desk so I just left the paper work on the desk , Teresa then comes on the radio screaming and yelling telling Cristiano to tell me the next time I leave papers on desk, I will fire him", I feel she should of called me in and explained to me what I did wrong, instead of humiliating me over the radio.It wasn't the first time I had left papers on that desk and she hadn't complained before. ( everyone was laughing at me the rest of the day )
January 17th, I was driving the forklift I was carrying a unit of wood, the tires on the forklift spun a little because of the snow and ice on the ground and Ted, then comes on the radio screaming and yelling telling me to" stop spinning the (Inappropriate Content Removed)tires" we work outside we load trucks outside where there is snow and ice on the ground, we can't help it if the bald tires spin on the ice.
On January 28th, I was unloading a semi, but before I unloaded it, I got off my forklift to check the size of the unit so that I could place it in the right location, and Ted then comes on the radio yelling for me to quick (Inappropriate Content Removed)off and get back on the forklift, I feel he should of asked what I was doing before he just comes on the radio disrespecting me.
February 7th, Ted asked me to unloading the semi because it was over loaded so I needed to take two units off of the semi, I took them off and placed one on the side and the other one was on my forklift, I got off my forklift and went to the office to get the tags which belong to the units that were going to be returned I then got on my forklift and parked next to Steve so that I could borrow his staple gun since I didn't have one , Ted then gets on the radio screaming and yelling telling me"are you that (Inappropriate Content Removed)lazy, take your head out of your (Inappropriate Content Removed) and take the units were they belong" my response to him was " I'm not leaving them here, I had to borrow Steve's staple gun since I don't have one"
On February 13th, I finally decided I had enough, Teresa gets on the radio again yelling like a crazy animal, telling me I had no right or authority telling the semi driver to drive into the yard. The semi driver asked me if it was okay to drive through the yard , I then told him thats were all the semi drivers go through, the semi drivers have always went through the yard I didn't understand why she was yelling this time, when thats were we load and unload the semi's.
I thought about going to talk to Ted or Teresa but they aren't people you can talk to, I was never told who HR was till the day I quit the secratary, Miss Keller mentioned she was HR, I then asked her why she let this happen to the employees she said in a low voice and sign gesters I know but I need my job I, there is nothing I can do about it I need my job.( she because Ted and Teresa were in the next room.) She was the 5th secratary employeed at TNT Forest Production in the 5 months I was employeed at TnT Forest Product
When one of my co-workers ( Robert ) was fired he had, had enough Ted isn't someone you can talk to, Ted, blamed him for a flat tire and didn't even care to find out what happen he just blamed Robert, he fired Robert because Robert defended himself, he got a taste of his own medicine. Why should they be allowed to verbaly harrass us.
I feel that TnT Forest Product ( Ted and Teresa ) should take some managing courses they have no managing skills or people skills. In their handbook they talk about no harrasment they harrass their employees everyday verbal harrasment constantly swearing and threatening to fire them. I feel they harrass their employees so that they quit and they can keep their pay, I was making 9.00 per hour and because I left I was only paid 7.25 per hour. I don't think they should get away with what they do. We can only put up with so much. I felt I was the better person walking away from the hostile enviorment.

On January 15th,I had already reported these to the Idaho Employment of Labor, a few weeks prior to leaving TnT Forest Production, I spoke to Jim Trenkle and he said he knew about how Ted and Teresa treated the employees , Jim mentioned they were snakes and they always get away with how they treat their employees because Ted has the perfect witeness his wife. He also had me talk with a meteator over the phone I spoke to Diana Harrison ( Idaho partment of Unemployment)and reported the incident.
I was denied unemployment benefits because they had two wittness' which are the trwo that are allowed to drink at lunch.As I stated in my complaint they employees at the Idaho employment office Jim Trinkle stated they always get away with it... they have such a huge turn over because they was they treat their employees.While employeed at TnT Forestry I seen 5 secrateries come and go and I lost count of how many forlift drivers quit for the same reason I lift... I feel they shouldn't get away with what they do... I also feel that they Idaho Department of Employment so investigate much better bring in other employees that lefthe company or got fired... I don't think the husband and wife should be eachothers witness... I feel they should pay me for stress, discrimination, verbal abuse and all the trouble I've been going through... I did what the employment office asked me to do and it didn't help me..
