This person went to my Avon website to contact me regarding an order. I responded back with a nice thank you and asked for a phone number to contact him. He responded back with an order from skin care, makeup, bath and body and hair care. He asked me to get back to him with the total cost with " sales tax" included to pay for the products. This person wanted personal information about me that I would never give out and proceeded to state would instruct their sponsor to prepare payment for the order with a disclosure (You should note the courier service doesn't mail to PO box, so preferably I want contact mailing address). I thought instantly this is a scam and I will not order any products at all. The person instructed me to get back to them as soon as possible to continue with the order, giving instructions that a check or money order would be sent and I can cash immediately at the bank. He proceeded to say " we will be in your city soon for a film shoot so our crew would pick up the items themselves or meet you at strategic point depending on your preference." I then got a second email with a phone number of 305-327-2455 but he tells me he just had his ears operated on and the doctor advised him not to use the phone for some time. He talks about how he will instruct his sponsor to make payment and he does not know which crew member will be assigned to my location for the film shoot and therefore he can not provide me their phone number. At the end of the email, the last sentence states " Let our conversation strictly be through mail for now. My Kindest Regards. I thought this whole email and ordering of Avon was a joke and I had no intention of placing this order. This bothered me so badly, that I looked it up and my suspicions were correct.
