My husband was trying to purchase Turbo Tax downloadable software online on February 24, 2013. He went to a site that appeared to be an official Turbo Tax website. He made the purchase with a Visa card, and received an immediate response on that website that he would get an email with a link to the downloadable product within four hours. He never received an confirmation email, that he had made the purchase, and never received an email containing a link to download the product. I went back into my internet search history, a few weeks later, and the website was gone. What did show up was this site...with many people blogging who had been ripped off by the same person. I filed a dispute with the credit card company requesting my money back (and an international fee of $1.07 charged) I think they're at fault too, because they had to have approved this person to do business with them, and without any contact information.
