I am being billed for water used from 1/28/2013 to 2/26/2013 No one is living in the home,and the water is turned off,while we are gone for the winter.Outside faucets turned off. BWL has us using more water than any month that we are in the home full time. They can't tell me why the meter shows use, just pay it they tell me. They changed the water meter on 3/15/2013 but they still say i owe the bill

  • I have spoke with 2 customer service managers,I have had the meter checked and replaced. I am being told they don't no how I am using water, but that the meter shows usage, so I owe the ammount.as a customer they are always right, and you are wrong. they have the last word. If they replaced the meter,it must have been defective. DAH to bad BWL has a monapoly

  • Phil, I don't believe we've talked... call the BWL on Monday and I'd be happy to look into the situation. You may have talked to a Customer Service Leader or Supervisor... ask for the Manager. I look forward to talking to you.

  • i called BWL this morning as you suggested i do.I ask for the manager,but customer service said they had no idea what manager i needed to speak with.I had been talking with a supervisor names Cath,who was suppose to call me back last week,and never did.I had told Cath last week that aong with replacing my meter,they cut a hole outside in my concrete driveway,and never fixed it.My neighbor watched as the bwl guys hit my mail box and damaged it,and they tryed to put it back toether so you couldn't tell they had damaged it.Cath was suppose to call me in a week, and let me no what bwl was going to do about my concerns.I spoke with her today when i couldn't reach you. After they repaced the meter,my daughter went over to my house a week later, and the bwl guys never turned off the water as it was when they came to replace it.One of the repair guys names Leon was very rude to my daughter. This guy needs to be talked to by his supervisor.If you really want to help me, you can leave your name, and a phone number,other than the regular number that gets me nowhere.BWL has a monopoly,as far as being the only choice for lansing residents.So they can treat there customers any way they like. What are you the customer going to do?? I have a mind to sell my lansing home of 45 years,and relocate full time to my winter home in Florida,and become a resident.
