Very romantic guy(?). Used photos of a really handsome man. After emailing for a couple of weeks, said he had closed a contract to build an electrical plant in Dubai and had to fly there immediately. Next day, email from "son, Michael" said Derek was attacked, robbed, badly injured but had none of his cash or credit cards and asked me to send $3,000 to Dubai. Sounded way too good to be true, and was!

- I had a similar experience with Mr. Sherman using Senior People Meet. Whoever he is, he is eloquent, gracious and extremely romantic in his correspondence. It stopped short of the Dubai incident because I say the above complaint and brought it to Mr. Sherman's attention. Of course all correspondence ceased. I greatly appreciated having this kind of site. I would have resolved the problem once the Dubai incident kicked in, but your site saved me the time and effort...and some of the heartache. Thank you.
