Without any knowledge or contact with anyone from Clearview Energy, this company initiated the action to become my electrical supplier at a rate of 2 cents higher than my current supplier.
My current supplier, Constellation, received a stop notice from my BGE and is in the process of canceling my contract as my supplier, at which time I will incur cancellation fees.
I spoke to a Clearview Energy Customer Service Manager who said that they have had problems with their sales people submitting false contracts. As yet, Clearview cannot produce any documentation to prove that I initiated a contract with them. When making follow-up calls I'm advised that they are still researching the situation.
Neither Clearview, Constellation, or BGE can/will take any action to correct the situation.
I've filed complaints with the Maryland Public Service Commission and he Maryland Attorney General Consumer Affairs Division.
I don't know where this will lead but I do know that I am in for a long painful experience.

- This is my first post regarding this matter and I plan on posting many more. I work for the Third-Party Verification service retained by Clearview Energy and other energy supply companies. If you indeed enrolled, Clearview has the audio of you going through the enrollment process with a third-party verification agent. That is the documentation you need and which apparently they do not have, or they have audio of someone impersonating you to fraudulently enroll your account. Clearview Maryland agents are uneducated and immoral. They prey on the elderly and non-English speaking citizens of your state. Call back and ask about the recording of your supposed enrollment!
