They bill you the full price for services, and bill your insurance the full price as well. Was told I would be refunded the portion I pd after my insurance paid, went in to talk to the billing staff...they are a joke and a huge ripoff

Would like to help you, but not sure of all the details...did you insurance pay on anything? Are you trying to say they got paid twice for services- once by you, and once by your insurance, or are you just saying that they told you they would later refund part of your payment and never did?
In future, if any doctor wants you to pay upfront and then bill your insurance, insist that they have the insurance payment payable TO YOU and sent TO YOU by the insurance company, instead of letting the doctor's office be the go-between.
