DirectTV sent me an bundle offer which included DirecTV, Internet and Phone plus a $200 Reward Card. I decided to take up the offer but they couldn't supply a phone service and two days before they were due to install I started getting phone calls from another company, Exede/Wildblue Internet, who said they would be the Internet supplier. At no time did DirectTV tell me this nor that I would have two dishes on my roof.
On installation day the TV man demanded $49.99 to bring cable through the loft and after I complained he reduced this to $30 which I paid directly to him.
The so-called fast-speed Internet was slower than before. The following day there was a 2-hour break in service.
There were many promises broken by DirectTV for example, before installation they said I would be able to take up to six months vacation each year (I'm from UK) but Exede/Wildblue said I had to be with them two years before I would be able to take a vacation period.
I have other complaints too numerous to mention at this time but in the main DirectTV have now sent me a bill for $469.85 as an early cancellation fee but they don't say what your change of mind time is. I had their service less than 3 days before I cancelled.
