Please note that the other telephone number that I found on my caller ID from this scam artist is 303-209-9412. This person called me from this telephone number on 3/22/13, 3/23/13 and 3/24/13.

Dear Sir or Madame,

I just wanted to let you and the Hilton Hotel Corporation know that on Friday, March 22, 2013 last week I received a telephone call early in the morning that woke me up, asking me to participate in a survey for the Hilton Hotels Corporation and the Starwood Hotels Corporation on how I view both Hotels. I was told that this would take about a half an hour of my time and I would receive $100. I scheduled for this to take place on Sunday, March 24, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, March 23, 2013, I received another telephone call early in the morning that again woke me up regarding the survey. The man who made this telephone call had a heavy Indian accent. I had mentioned that he had woken me up and that the survey had been scheduled for Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

I then received the below e-mail from the man who had called me earlier in the day. I am now convinced that after attending the Meeting Industry Council Educational Conference yesterday and talking to two representatives from both the Hilton Hotels Corporation and the Starwood Hotels Corporation that this was a scam.

I had a telephone conversation with the man who sent me the below e-mail on Sunday, March 24, 2013, just after 2:00 p.m. He asked me a bunch of questions about the branding of both Hotels and how the company is run. I had told this man that I was a corporate Meeting Planner and I had no idea as to what either company's business policies were. He then cut the conversation short and told me that he was looking for information about the operations of both companies. I then became suspicious

Therefore, I would recommend that you investigate this further as I now believe that this was a false exercise. I doubt that I will ever see any compensation, but this person was clearly doing false work using both the Starwood and Hilton Hotel names.
