I bought Mucinex DM recommend by doctor. It didn't work for me. I called the phone number on the back. After talking to a rep & not getting satisfactory results I asked for a supervisor & was told the same. So I called the Corporate office of Reckitt Benckieser. I asked for a supervisor told her my story and was told the same as the first person I spoke to.

I told them I took the over the counter medicine for a cough. It cost 15.99. The 2nd one was on sale & cost
12.99. They told me for a refund that I had to send the whole package back with the receipt. That I had to pay for the envelope & postage. It would need a padded one that would cost me about $1.00 and 92 cents in postage.
They don't provided one like every other company that I had a problem with & provided. I had to return the unused product. I told them I only had 1 left that I took it all to see if it would help & forgot to take the one pill. They told me that they would only reimburse for the one pill.

So, it would cost me. $1.92 to get a refund of 64 cents. I told them that didn't make sense. I told them I worked for a division of General Mills for 15 years & other fortune 500 co's, no company ever did that, I never heard of that. What kind of customer service is that? They said they are sorry that's what they do. I told them that I told 2 doctors not to recommend their product and they I would put it on the Internet. They said they didn't care.

I think they are a terrible company. I had a cap broke to a Soft Soap dispenser. They sent me 2 $4.49
coupons & didn't ask for the broken cap back. That's excellent customer service.

If the company doesn't resolve this with more than just a full refund for both packages I will not give up. I'm a
very busy person, but this has upset me to no end!!!!!!
I spent a lot of time talking to them on the phone and emailing them when I could have been working and lost a lot of money. I believe they owe me $25 in compenstation of lost time and wages.
