An Indian guy named Troy called offering grant money of $70,000. All I was asked to pay was $3.87. He gave me a 6 digit confirmation password and this was confirmed by another man that claimed to be a manager. The password or confirmation number that I was given is useless when trying to login at usfinancialresources.com or at [email protected]. They billed me the $3.87, $59.95 was also withdrawn from my account. There is another charge of $19.95 that was charged at the same time. The contact number I was given was 1-800-555-0064. It is a recording directing me to go to another website that does not exist. This is obviously a scam and I don't know what to do about it. I will call my bank today and try to dispute the charges or at least stop them from withdrawing anymore money from my account. Please do something about this person or persons before they steal money from anyone else. I am usually weary of these type of scams but I actually thought that he was honest when he stated that he representative of the Federal government issuing grant money for people like me with disabilities. I worry that my identity had been compromised as well. This is nothing more than a scam and it needs to be stopped.
