I do not know the exact date but I live in an Apartment complex.My three children and I moved to Creekside June of 2007.In my lease it stated that they will start charging residents for the heat that following winter,and that creekside will pay 40.00 dollors towards each individual residents bill.when winter came and I had to turn the heat on my bills were coming in 200.00 in one month 150.00 another month.I am on low income section 8 housing.I went to the Creekside office where i live and I asked if i could make a payment arrangment. Not a single person would talk to me.I know I have the right to make the payment arrangement and I also have the right to see my idemized usage each and every month but they can never produce that. I know all my rights and resposibilities as a consumer.And when i try to talk with the manager to explain myself he refuses.If I lose my housing voucher my children and I have no where to go.I really need someone to help the residents and myself as well.Most of us are in a low income housing,and are losing their vouchers because of this situation.Its really not fair for people like myself who are raising children and have section 8 as a stepping stone so they can go to school and eventually not have to have the section 8 voucher anymore.
