Two attractive young people came to my door with a story about how I could help them get out of their current situation of poverty and inner city strife by purchasing magazines from them. I had to ask numerous times how much it would cost, then was coerced into "helping them meet their quota for the day". I am so angry that I was suckered into this as I want to believe the best in people. Shortly after these two left, a third person knocked at my door. I was having a conversation with him when the police drove up and stopped. I felt really sad for the young man, as I don't think he had a clue that what he was doing was wrong. I feel as if these young people are being exploited as well.
