MY WIFE & I RECEIVED A $50.00 TD BANK DEBIT VISA GIFT CARD FROM OUR GRANDCHILDREN TO USE FOR A DINNER ON 2/14/13 WE WENT TO APPLEBEE'S RESTURANT IN HILLSBOROUGH NJ FOR VALENTINES DAY LUNCH BILL TOTAL WAS $41.22 I GAVE THE SERVER THE TD BANK DEBIT VISA GIFT CARD & TOLD THE SERVER JESSICA B. TO KEEP THE BALANACE ON THE CARD $8.78 FOR HER TIP SHE LEFT & RETURNED & TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS ONLY .54 CENTS BALANCE LEFT++ I ASKED HER WHAT HAPPENED TO THE $8.78??? SHE SAID " I DON'T KNOW?? I TOLD HER TO GET THE MANAGER HIS NAME IS DAVID HE CAME & TOLD ME TD BANK ADDED ON A FEE++ THIS RUINED MY WIFE & I'S VALENTINES DAY I BECAME REALLY ANGRY I SAID TO HIM WHAT KIND OF EXTORTION IS THIS HE TOLD ME TO CALL TD BANK WHEN I GOT HOME I DID JUST THAT I SPOKE TO JOEL AT TD BANK HE GAVE ME A SMOKE & MIRROR TYPE ANSWER SAYING APPLEBEE'S TOOK THE &8.78++ I TOLD HIM I DEMAND THAT THE $8.78 BALANCE BE SENT TO ME IN THE FORM OF A CHECK & I EXPECT TO RECEIVE IT WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS FROM 2/15/13++ ON 2/16/13 I CALLED TD BANK TO SEE IF ANYTHING WAS BEING DONE ABOUT MY COMPLAINT & IWAS GIVEN A QUESTION REFERENCE #130215=000051+++ AND WAS TOLD A CHECK FOR $8.78 WOULD BE SENT TO ME IN 14 DAYS++14 DAYS CAME & GONE ON 3/6/13 I CALLED TD BANK SPOKE TO 3 PEOPLE++ JAYSON=AMY= & LYNETTE++ AFTER TELLING MY STORY I WAS TOLD BY LYNETTE THAT THE BANK PEOPLE WOULD DISCUSS MY PROBLEM & DECIDE IF THEY WOULD REFUND THE $8.78 TO ME WELL AS OF TODAY 4/12/13++ I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CHECK NOR HAVE I GOTTEN ANY PHONE CALLS OR E=MAILS FROM TD BANK++ PLEASE NOTE++ I EXPECTED THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING BUT THEY JUST IGNORED ME AND EXPECTED ME TO JUST GO AWAY & FORGET ABOUT IT++ WRONG THIS JUST MAKES ME MORE DETERMINED THAN EVER++THANX FOR YOUR HELP++JACK S(Personal Information Removed) ++ E=MAIL(Personal Information Removed) ++++ONE MORE THING I WAS TOLD BY TD BANK TO MAKE A PURCHASE USING THE CARD BALANCE BECAUSE THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM++ ON 3/6/13 I WENT TO THE BURRITO KING RESTURANT IN MONMOUTH JNCTN NJ TRIED TO USE THE $8.78 BALANCE ON THE CARD IT WAS A NO GO SEEMS TD BANK CHARGED $11.41 CENTS TO THE CARD INSTEAD OF USING THE $8.78++ THANX AGAIN HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON++++
