I made reservations back in December for my daughter and myself to take a trip to San Diego, CA April 24, 2013. We just found out that my daughter has State Required exit testing for school the week of our trip. I had taken the trip insurance out for the trip which cost me 26.00. Now Hotwire and their insurance affiliate, Allianz, tell me that this is not a good enough reason to get a refund back for our trip. My daughter is 16 yrs. old and graduating High School at 16 yrs. old. She would not be able to be left alone or travel alone. I am giving them a week and a half notice. It is funny that the Hotels will give me a refund, given the circumstances but not the airlines. This is a rip-off and is fraud. I want something done and I want my money back. Thank you, Roxanne L.
