I was solicited by Anthony somebody, who claimed to be the executive producer of Ashford Radio. He told me I was a rising star in my field and they wanted to feature me on my own radio show. It turned out to cost me $1000 per show. I was told the audience loved me and I had very high ratings. However, I got no emails from the "listeners/callers," who I now believe to have been other people in the studio. Good old Frank Madden aka Frank Passerella, a convicted felon I'm told, assured me that doing a series of eight more shows would be pouring money into my coffers. The advertising for this would be an email sent out to a large but selective list of people and companies. This second expenditure was for $6,000 on March 28, 2012.
I never got a single sale out of this rip-off. If emails were actually sent out, which I doubt, they were useless. The only real caller appeared to be a confused young man who wanted me to connect him to a someone who would be his musical agent. My show was about health and nutrition.
Frank then called again and offered to spotlight me to get more listeners. The charge this time was a "special" rate of $1,000 (May 29, 2012). The total rip-off amount was $7,200.
What these people don't say to their victims is that Ashford owns Blogtalk Radio,which can be used for free.
Having used up their sucker list, they are now calling me again under the guise of CAB TV and some other radio show.
