I contacted a craigslist ad for a house for rent. Many e-mails & texts, including photos & house address. Told me I was selected as the tennant and to Western Union deposit to that address. She was supposed to send lease & keys this morning. Now I'm told she can't send keys to house until I send the first months rent as well. She continues to text & e-mail tonight. - I'm sorry about what happened to you. I sent a response to this person as well and they replied back. I noticed that the ad was flagged which made me look into the number she provided. That is what lead me here. I hope this person gets caught and you get your money back. Thank you for posting this.

- I contacted a craigslist ad for a rental in Louisville Kentucky, and was contacted by the same phone number. She said her name was Linda Martin, and to wire her $800, but I found the same house located on a realtor site for $1350 so contacted the realtor and was warned about this scam. SAME NUMBER...beware!
