My wife and I stayed at Scottish Inn, Knoxville, Tennessee for the night of April 17, 2013

( room 105;non -smoking). Booking taken by lady at Reception. Paid $46.15 cash which included taxes which would have been fine if room had been properly serviced. Room was dusty; grit on floor; no plug in the sink; one toilet roll only. We were tired and not well, but both agreed that something or someone had urinated on the carpet in the corner reseved for luggage, neat to the sink area.
Hard to find the staff in this location, When I turned in the key next morning to the manager ( Indian gentleman? ); he stated that I was expecting too much for a budget priced motel??? He tried to turn everything round to make it out that I was to blame! He said that he had a lot of rooms to service but declined to comment on staffing or efficiency levels. He made to attempt to apologise and at no time was I ever offered a receipt. I
