We ended our subsciption to Bell TV effective January 24,2013.This was given well in advance of their 30 day notice as we are going to be moving and the exact date was uncertain and still is.

However when I was out of town,Bell cut out the service early and my wife called Bell and told them that we were supposed to have service till January 24.They restored it and it was to continue till January 24,2013.On that date I disconnected our receivers.
Since that time we have been harassed with phone calls about charges which were not supposed to be put on. Unfortunately the phone calls we made were always offshore and it was hard to communicate with them to explain the problem, Yet we were getting calls to pay the bill (and some were downright nasty to my wife) for a service which we did not ask for or want.My wife got a very nasty phone call from an obnoxious fellow who told my wife(look at your bill) and claimed that the service was only terminated in March.Today after repeated phone calls I finally was able to get through to a young lady in Canada, who after realizing what happened was told that the off shore people are hard to understand and because I am hard of hearing I can't make them out and when I ask to speak to someone I can understand ,they hang up. In the past we had a lot of problems with the service and technical problems which could have been resolved if had people that we talk to and understand them.
