On March 17th, 2013, I was on the Sears Canada website when they appeared to offering me a "limited time" free sample offer so I reviewed it & the product appeared to be interesting so I was stupid & ignored my gut & signed up for this offer, agreeing to ude my VISA to pay for the shipping & handling only! Well, guess what I noticed on April 17th, 2013?! That "wonderful" company "handed themselves" to a whooping $149.95 from my pre-paid VISA card (that they now have on file)! Eventually, I located their website (not the original one that I signed up on!) & I read their Terms & Conditions (which was NOWHERE to be found when I signed up for the freebies) & I discovered that they expected us to return their product within 2 weeks of receiving it IF we didn't like it otherwise we were supposedly agreeing to having them charge our card on file $149.95 each & every month thereafter & IF the card is declined, they wil keep trying for the same amount or slightly less til it clears!!! I'm sooo NOT happy!!! I would actually love to shove their product up their butts right about now, but unfortunately, I gave it away as a gift for Easter (which was my intent from the get go!)!!! I can't afford to lose the money that they already "stole" from me nor lose any more, but I can't afford a lawyer on my own!!! Any suggestions??? I NEVER sign up for "freebies" from companies that I've never hear of, but since this was being offered through the Sears Canada website, I honestly thought that it was a legit offer... my bad!!! I SOOO NEED HELP!!!
