My baby grandson got bit 2 different times by some type of bug in our room. I did not want to remain in this hotel, and requested a refund. The manager by the name of Robin was very rude to me and my granddaughter stating the bites were old, and also stated my granddaughter just wanted to take a shower, and leave. She would not allow us to speak to the General manager, but after complaining several times he finally came out and spoke with us and would not refund our money. He stated the reason he would not refund the money was because we were there to long, and if we did not like our room we only had 20 minutes to complain about it. There was not anything written for this rule anywhere. We arrived at the hotel at about 12:45 pm. It was approximately 3:30 when I complained. That is not very long. I went ahead and checked out of this hotel and went to Frostburg, Maryland, and got a room at the Hampton Inn where we spent 2 nights without any problems. I feel like I was treated very poorly with the manager ignoring my requests and laughing at us. I would like to receive my money back because I did not stay at their hotel, and I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, or the way we were treated by the staff. They were very unprofessional, and degrading. Please see if I can receive a refund. If we were just trying to get our money back, we would have not gotten another room somewhere else.
