I ordered a 7x12 tandem axle enclosed cargo trailer from www.WholesaleCargoTrailers.com, sales associate Chris Singletary on 2/25/13 and made an initial deposit of $450 with a balance due of $2400 upon delivery. With the understanding that the trailer would be complete in 3-4 weeks. Three weeks into the build I attempted to contact Chris, after several failed attempts he finally returned my call and directed me to a different website to obtain updates. I went to www.kingdomtrailers.com and found a contact number, after several failed attempts a guy named Steve returned my call and explained that they were in the process of moving to a new facility and all of their trailers were behind schedule. I continued to call requesting updates once a week until 4/29/13. I finally contacted Chris Singletary directly since I was unable to get ahold of anyone on their order status line. He requested that I send him an email directly and he would provide me with an update on 4/30/13. I attempted to contact their order status line and after several failed attempts I contacted Chris directly. He initially asked if I had received an email from Steve this morning and I responded no. He then told me that I should be getting it soon. I responded by asking if my trailer was in production yet and he began to get irrate and said he didn't know. I responded by saying that if it wasn't in production yet I wanted to cancel my order and my deposit refunded. Chris then told me if I cancelled I would lose my deposit. I asked why should I lose my deposit if they never delivered in the contracted time and he hung on me. I attempted to call back several times and he continued curse and raise his voice with me so I followed suit. He finally told me that they were filing for bankruptcy and good luck attempting to collect my deposit. He finally hung up and began ignoring all of my calls. STAY AWAY FROM KINGDOM TRAILERS!!!
