I spent hours and hours on the phone with MyTechHelp.com trying to get them to investigate my original phone call because I was never told about the $50 non-refundable fee that they charge people. I wanted a full refund once I found out that they weren't an extension of Apple. When I originally asked them if they were associated with Apple, they said 'yes'. They tried to get me to pay $250 for their "Services" and then I would've had to pay for shipping AND the parts needed to fix my computer. Besides that problem, they didn't even know what the problem was with my computer- they tried to fix the problem by downloading a $50 anti-virus software onto my computer. I spent 2 hours on the phone with the tech guy only to find out I didn't have a virus (cause Mac's don't get viruses but the tech told me that viruses just started coming out last October 2012 for Mac's. What a lie!). I had to call them back twice about the investigation and my theory is that they investigated, found out I was misled and never called me back, hoping that I would forget about the fee they charged onto the credit card. After the third time of following up with me they kept interrupting me and just cancelled my account, which meant no more investigation! Then they hung up on me- TWICE!
