I ordered funeral flowers Sept. 28 at almost 1 pm and later that day got a confirmation of delivery. The next day I went for visitation and couldn't locate the arrangement anywhere. I spoke to one of the funeral directors who personally searched for the arrangement twice, without success. I called Wesley Berry on Saturday and spoke to a representatives whose name I unfortunately did not get. He said someone at the funeral home had signed for the flowers on Wednesday at 2 pm and that he was contacting the funeral home for further information. He took my contact information and said he would call me back. He didn't. I wrote a detailed e-mail to the company describing my problem and they responded with an two-line e-mail that didn't address any of my issues. I am heartsick about this for a number of reasons, but mostly because this token of my sympathy did not get to the family of my friend, whose 26-year-old son died. I suspect that someone who felt overworked and overwhelmed simply did not create my arrangement and hoped it would go unnoticed or that the funeral home would get the blame. How else could it be that a large arrangement I ordered could have been created AND delivered to South Lyon within the space of about an hour? Not only am I requesting a complete refund for the arrangement, but also the four "groupons" that I ordered in faith to use at what I thought to be a reputable florist. I have no desire to use their services again, so the $40 I spent on "groupons" is a complete loss as well. Better Business Bureau has had MANY complaints against this place (I looked beforehand, but it had an "A" rating!), but obviously people need to be sure to actively complain to the BBB. You MAY see some resolution after filing. Good luck and remember: Wesley Berry Flowers SUCKS!
