Don't trust hotelsOne.com. I booked and was charged on 1/19/2013 for a hotel reservation for 5/3/2013. I had a confirmation number emailed to me with the message: "congratulations, your hotel has confirmed your reservation." I rechecked my confirmation on May 2nd, printed it out, with the itinerary and confirmation numbers, and took it to the hotel. I got to the hotel and had NO reservation on file with the hotel. When I called hotelsOne.com's 800 number, I was told the reason I had no reservation was they "hadn't been able to charge my credit card." That was a lie. The representative did call the hotel directly to check to find out for himself that there was no reservation on file. All hotels in that city location were full for an event that weekend. HotelsOne.com did not offer to get me a room anywhere, but did say they would refund my charge to my card. Then they admitted it was not my fault. If not for the refund, this would be fraud. As it was, it was a huge inconvenience to not have a reservation in a town holding an event for 30,000 extra people that weekend.
