I applied for a payday loan last week on-line (always a big mistake unless you get an "honest" company). They deposited the funds to my bank account as they said they would. Not a problem there at all! The problem comes in when I get up on Wednesday to look over my bank statement on-line and see a "charge" for $30 that was taken out electronically. Had no idea what this was for. To top that off, it overdrew my account and my bank is charging me a $19.00 fee. I called the number that was given on this transaction, just to find out what this was all about (foreign accents, which scare me as most of them are scammers). I demanded them to REFUND this back to my account, that I DID NOT "check a box" like they said I did on a payday loan application that stated my funds would be assured! THEY ARE SCAMMERS TO SAY THE VERY LEAST! My next step is to call them back and demand that I see proof of what "I checked" that authorized them to take $30 out of my account! If they do not, I will have the police department investigate these scammers! STAY CLEAR OF PAYDAY LOANS! Your information floats all over in Cyber Space for "criminals" to steal your money!!!! Like the one I just mentioned FOR ONE! And, it's not the first time I've been scammed! Go to your local Payday Loan Shop, if you must get a loan!
