I had accepted a job as a secret shopper and was sent a check of $985.00 in the mail and deposited the check to my bank that day. I followed through with the instructions and withdrew the $200.00 salary as the directions stated and waited for the remainder of the check to clear. This morning I received an e-mail from my bank declaring the check turned and my account negative $200.00. I informed the employer who had sent the check and have yet to hear back. I am now to pay my bank the money that I overdrew as well as a $13.00 fee for the check turning. I am writing to you in hopes that this person may not scam others.
