Got a call from ?[wouldn't say,] telling me to go on my computer and he would fix a problem with the internet. He wanted me to turn on my computer right away so he could fix the problem.
Obviously, I thought this was an odd request [and a scam] so I did not fall for it.
He had a foreign accent [possibly East Indian].
After I hung up, I went on my PC to the "411" site to trace the call and the only thing it told me was it was in the London Ont. region. The number was 519-432-8671.
Hopefully he and his cohorts do not catch someone of guard and scam their computer.
