The item I supposedly purchased was a 1978 Trans Am for $3000. The company and seller, [email protected], explained the process and linked me to the website where I followed the instructions. After receiving the Bill of Sale, I waited the allotted three days and contacted them. They said the shipment was delayed by 48 hours. So I contacted again within 48 hours without response. After repeated attempts at contact and threatening emails, I have been subsequently banned from entering any kind of chat window with a representative. I just hate that I have just now seen this website. I filed with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and the FBI for internet fraud. I will follow up with additional contact with an attorney, but I doubt it will lead anywhere.

Update: 05/25/2013

Oh yes, the bank of choice for this particular scam was Barclay's. It's an international bank with branches in the US, but the one I dealt with was in the UK.
