Got a letter for becoming Mystery Shopper in the mail. They asked me to cash the check of $1,997.70. Send a large portion to Madrid, Spain, spend a small portion on items at a requested location and then keep the rest for my troubles.
I called the bank that the check was issued from and they said that it was a scam. So, I was lucky not to get stuck with it...but am sending out a warning!
